Eight lakes

In this Mongolian horse riding tour, you get the chance to ride horses through the sublime Naiman Nuur mountainous region of Central Mongolia, and stay with local nomadic families along the way in their felt gers to experience their pastoral way of life, traditional foods and culture.

Horse riding trip and you need to have some basic riding experience.

Horse trip through 8 lakes, the most beautiful nature and adventure tour in Mongolia.   The strong Mongol horses were the most powerful companions when Chinggis Khaan and his successors conquered half of the world in the 13th century.
Eight Lakes lie 2400 m above sea level in the Khangai mountain range. This scenic place is accessible only on horseback or on foot. The Eight Lakes are called Shireet, Mukhar, Khaliut, Bugat, Khaya, Duruu, Khuis and Onon, those lakes located 500m to 3 kms from each other. The lakes were created by volcanic eruption.

Day 1.

Pick up from the airport and drop off at the Hotel.

Day 2.

Drive to Orkhon waterfall.

Day 3,4,5,6.

Start with a horse riding tour to 8 lakes with a guide and local guide.

Day 7.

Back to Orkhon waterfall from 8 lakes and ending horse trip.

Day 8.

Drive back to UB on the way overnight at Mongol sand dune.  Short time camel ride and hiking trekking around Mongol sand dune.

Day 9.

After breakfast drive to “Seven stars” camp which is located at Hui 7 hudag, When arrive at the Seven stars camp we sit in the sauna and relax after the long tour. Dinner “Mongolian traditional food Khorhog” at the camp.

Day 10.

After lunch drive back to UB and arrive in UB around 4 pm.

Day 11.

Ulaanbaatar city tour.

Day 12.

After breakfast, pick up from the Hotel and drop off at the airport.
