Bagagazariin chuluu
Baga Gazriin Chuluu, is a 15km long and 10 km wide stone massif, is located 30 km to the south east of Adaatsag sum. The highest point is Tahilgat Mountain /1768 m/ in the Northwest part of the stone massif. Over 20 kinds of medical herbs.
Tsagaan Suvarga “White Stupa”
Tsagaan suvarga located in Ulziit Soum, Dundgobi aimag. The name Tsagaan Suvarga (White Stupa) is given by local people to the impressive and legendary cliff which is eroded by natural phenomenon. Having 10 million years history, the cliff indicates different times by its colored layers.
Yolyn Am “ Yol Valley”
Yol valley originally established to conserve the birdlife in the region, but it’s now more famous for its dramatic rocky cliffs and narrow, heavily shaded canyons that allow sheets of blue-veined ice to survive well into the summer. Yolyn Am is in the Zuun Saikhan Nuruu, 46km west of Dalanzadgad.
Bayanzag, “Flimimg Cliffs”
Flimimng Cliffs which means ‘rich in saxaul shrubs’, is more commonly known as the ‘Flaming Cliffs’, a name penned by the palaeontologist Roy Chapman Andrews. First excavated in 1922, it is renowned worldwide for the number of dinosaur bones and eggs found in the area, which you can see in museums around the world. It’s a classic desert of rock, red sands, scrub, sun and awesome emptiness. A further 22km northeast of Bayanzag is an area of sand dunes called Moltzog Els,.
Khongor Sand Dunes
Khongor sand dune are the largest and most spectacular sand dunes in Mongolia. Also known as the ‘singing dunes’, they are up to 800 m high, 20 km wide and about 100 km long. Top of the dunes can be climbed and the views of the desert from the top are indescribable.
The sounds have been variously described as singing, whistling, squeaking, roaring and booming. To stand before an enormous, gleaming white sand dune and realize that all of this was once an ancient lake bed or coastal plain is quite astonishing. The incredible roaring sounds of distant dunes is an unforgettable experience.
Kharhorin
Khar Horin, which is the ancient capital city of Mongolia, was founded 1220 in the Orkhon valley, center of the empire for more than 140 years, destroyed in 1391 by Chinese troops. Erdene-Zuu monastery which is the first Buddhist center in Mongolia. Ogodei, son and successor of Chinggis, surrounded it by a rampart measuring approximately 1.7 km by 1 km; it was during this reign that Karakorum became a true urban, diplomatic, and commercial centre.
Erdenezuu Monastery
located North West of the imperial site of Kharkhorum, this monastery was built on the site of the ruins of the ancient Mongol capital which was the main center of Buddhism. At the present, 108 stupas are surrounding the monastery.
Erdenezuu and the vagaries of history: The construction of Erdenezuu began in the 16th century and continued until the middle of the 19th century. At the beginning of the 20th century, there were more than 600 temple halls and places of worship there, making it the most powerful of the Kalkh monasteries. But the Purges of the 1930s finished most of the temples and today only about 20 remain. What was left of the great monastic complex was turned into a museum in 1965 and Erdenezuu re-opened as a place of worship in 1990.
Terkhi white lake
Terkhi white lake was formed when volcano lava dammed the Suman River, cutting a large gorge through the basalt. It is an astonishingly beautiful lake, 20km long, 16km wide and 4 to 10 meters deep with an altitude of 2,060m above sea level. Khorgo Mountain is a dormant volcano located on the east Shore of White Lake. Khorgiin togoo is in the highest volcano crater in the Orkhon River Valley. From the summit of this basalt-covered mountain one has a splendid view over the whole region and the lake. The volcanic crater of the Togoo Uul is 200m wide and 100m deep.
Tsenkher Hot Springs
Tsenkher Hot Springs of Tsenkher Rashaan is located 25 km southwest from Tsenkher soum of Arkhangai province. This spring issues sweltering 65-90C water with stench of hydrogen sulfide. Since early times the spring had been used for medical use, as it is believed to have good influence for articulation, stomach, anemia, over fatigue, skin diseases and diabetes. Hot Spring of Tsenher Rashaan is surrounded by beautiful natural landscape, and it is an interesting tourist site of Arkhangai province.
Orkhon Waterfall
Orkhon Waterfall is the main attraction of this region of Mongolia. Apart from the springs at Khujirt, the main attraction in the area is the Orkhon waterfall. The water fall is situated in the historically significant Orkhon Valley, whose river flows an incredible 1120km to the North before it joins the mighty Selenge Gol, the waterfall was formed by a unique combination of volcanic eruptions and earthquakes about 20,000 years ago. The fall is naturally most impressive after heavy rain.
Aglag Monastery
Aglag Monastery is one of the nice places to visit. Built by Buddhist artist and lama, Purevbat, to practice meditation, educate, and write books, Aglag Buteel Monastery is located west of Bornuur Soum of Tuv Province. This monastery is located 100km away from Ulaanbaatar. Beautiful Aglag Buteel Monastery and be amazed by the combination of natural beauty and Buddhist heritages. Enjoy a walk around the monastery. There are many interesting and amazing mythical animals carvings made by wood roots and stones surrounding the mountain that is called Garid.

Pick up from the airport and drop off at the Hotel.
Day 2.
Pick up from Hotel after breakfast. Drive to Baga gazariin chuluu.
Day 3.
Tsagaan suvarga- White stupa.
Day 4.
Yol Valley in a Gobi Desert.
Day 5.
Khongor Sand Dune.
Day 6.
Khongor Sand Dune – Camel riding.
Day 7.
Bayanzag –Flaming cliffs.
Day 8.
Ongi monastery.
Day 9.
Drive to Orkhon waterfall.
Day 10.
Kharkhorin village and visit the Erdene Zuu Monastery.
Day 11.
Tsenkher Hot Springs.
Day 12.
Terkhi White Lake.
Day 13.
Terkhi White Lake to Khorgo Volcano back to Terkhi White lake.
Day 14.
Drive to Moron city, overnight in a Guest house.
Day 15.
Khatgal Village. Overnight in Ger Camp and prepare for the horse trip.
Day 16.
Start a horse trip around the Khovsgol Lake.
Day 17.
Continue the horseback ride and return to the Ger Camp for bathing and rest.
Day 18.
After breakfast drive to the Bulgan and overnight there.
Day 19.
Drive to the Aglag monastery and overnight in a nomad family.
Day 20.
After breakfast drive to “Seven stars” camp which is located at Hui 7 hudag, When arrive at the camp we sit in the sauna and relax after the long tour. Dinner “Mongolian traditional food Khorhog” at the camp.
Day 21.
Return to UB and have a lunch on the way back.
Day 22.
Ulaanbaatar city tour.
Day 23.
Pick up from the Hotel and drop off at the airport.
